The Importantce of I

Hey all,

I was sitting and pondering again and it struck me on why so many relationships fail, why so many people feel like failures and why so many of us are conditioned for it before we even leave our teens.

Then it hit me, I remembered something I had read in a book once, the Quote was,

"You can never say 'I love you' until you can say 'I", I cant remember the authors name.

Now the reason I bring this up is because it very closely linked with failure.

You see we are conditioned not to be selfish in this world, which I personally think is wrong and agree with many authors. Let me justify this, If you can not look after, love, be happy with or enjoy yourself how do you expect to do that for others or have others do that with or for you?

It is a paradox really because, you can not help others without helping yourself but you must help others in order to help yourself. To me this means just knowing yourself first before helping others, because helping others brings more pieces of the jigsaw that is life.

So how do we combat this, well first of all start living for yourself, enjoy your life as it is a gift from God, The higher power, The universe, what ever you call it. In doing so you start to believe and help yourself.

Effective Goal setting

Hey guys and gals,

I hope all of you had a terrific week and yes it is Monday but that doesn't mean its a bad thing, today is just the start of your week which means its another chance for you to go out there and live YOUR DREAMS!

I recently re read the book that I consider one of the best business books ever written, "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill,
You can get a free ebook copy from www.dcateaches.com
This book covers in more detail what we will be talking about which is effective goal setting.

Step 1:
Think of a goal you want to accomplish, could be money, a status, promotion anything you so desire to have.

Step 2:
We will use money as the example.
Take the amount you want, say £50 or $50 which ever you want. double it so its £100. This way you will to get the £100 and go beyond the £50.

Step 3:
Write it down in the positive as if it has already happened. E.G "I have £100 more then i did at the end of last month - 30th November 2008"
Date it because you have a deadline to work toward.

Step 4:
Place it somewhere were you can see it daily.

Step 5:
Read it Aloud twice a day but have emotion and feeling in your heart when you do, may I suggest that you read once in the morning and once before you sleep. This is because your mind is more susceptible to taking in the information in the first 20 mins of you awakening.

Step 6:
Write out a definitive action plan that you can use daily to help you achieve your goal.

Step 7:
Follow through with step 6 and practice daily.

Best Wishes,

Adil

Leaders NEVER........

This is a segment of what a true leader is:

A true leader is:

A Humble helping hand,
there for when you need them,
A person who knows the way and is guiding you.

A leader also never shows fear to those he leads. never is hurt in front of them, doesn't lose his anger in front of them, never gives UP!

What a leader isn't:

Doing something negative and for something that isn't good,
Being selfish,
Being attention seeking,
Never listens to those he leads.

There are many more but these are a few qualities,

I would like to leave you with this message,

"Life is a mountain, at the top is success at the bottom is failure, only a leader can conquer this mountain, NOT a pleader"
