I just got back today from my retreat and before I went I read this quote, and It just blew my mind because it is so true....

We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. I was in bed thinking and I came up with this analogy, please comment and let me know what you think.

"You must become the observer of life because when you attach emotion to life you become part of it and you stop the flow of life.
Imagine you are a fisher-person and your life is a river, it is full of fish.....the fish is another analogy for the people, problems and blessings in life.... now fishing using a fishing rod is more effective then actually jumping into the river to try and catch the fish.
Meaning the fishing Rod you wait patiently and get what you choose, rather then jumping in and scaring the fish away. So it is better to sit and wait then to chase"
